The Armden Sport 001 26” Mountain bike is a great entry level mountain bike for casual, recreational riding around town. It has a unique down tube geometry that makes it easy to ride for all. 26 inch mountain bikes are still the gold standard for much of the world, and because of the ubiquity, parts are available, everywhere, and budget friendly. We’re sure you’re well aware of the parts shortages going on in the last two years. Guess what. 26” parts are still easy to get.
And it’s got modern componentry! The disc brakes bring superior braking ability for rain and muddy conditions, if you decide to get dirty. It’s got 3X7 speeds, which is just enough speeds to tackle pretty much any kind of urban curb stomping and some light duty off-roading.
Why this is the bike for you: You’re just getting into Mountain Biking, or you want to ride on both the asphalt and sometimes off road. Your terrain is more like, “Yeah sure, I’ll do a little bit of off road.” You want to accelerate faster, and execute those gnarly mountain bike techniques easier.
What are you getting: A lightweight, no frills mountain bike that can take on light duty trail riding, and pretty much any kind of urban riding.
